This is a little story about MUSHIE. “I was pregnant with my second child and had some very severe morning sickness. It got so bad that I went to the doctor to get a diagnosis and was toldI had hyperemesis gravidarum. “Basically that’s morning sickness so severe that you’re basically bedridden all the time. You’re nauseated, your stomach is doing flip flops, your head is pounding all the time. I had to quit my job as a teacher (which I loved) because of it.
“Being stuck in bed for months is miserable, but I tried to be as productive as I could be. I began researching and planning the nursery, following a lot of mommy bloggers and Instagram moms. Then I started hunting for baby-safe products with beautiful aesthetics and realized how hard it was to find them.
“I began to source products from silicone factories directly, talking to China silicone factory and trying to get them to bring products to the USA, whatever it took to get my hands on the best products for my children. That’s what gave me the idea for Mushie. My husband and I started the company right around the time our second child was born.” Feigenson interviewed.
